Treatment That Addresses the Whole Person

Substance use can affect physical health, emotional well-being, relationships, work, identity, and connection to the responsibilities that matter most. Military experiences and transitions may add another layer of complexity.

At Peaks Recovery Centers, treatment addresses more than the substance being used. Our integrated team combines medical, psychiatric, clinical, and case-management support to help clients establish stability and build a stronger foundation for continued recovery.

We may support clients experiencing:

Your Substance Use Treatment Path

Depending on withdrawal risk, symptom severity, safety needs, and clinical recommendations, clients may begin with medical detox, residential treatment, or an outpatient program. Movement between levels of care is based on ongoing clinical assessment, medical necessity, TRICARE benefit considerations, and individual progress.

Medical Detox

Medical detox provides 24-hour medical support to help clients safely manage withdrawal symptoms, establish stability, and prepare for continued treatment.

Residential Treatment

Residential treatment provides 24-hour structure and support for clients who need continued care beyond detox or more intensive treatment than outpatient services can provide.

PHP Program

PHP provides structured daytime treatment for clients who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require 24-hour care.

IOP

IOP provides ongoing treatment with greater flexibility as clients return to work, family responsibilities, education, or other daily routines.

Virtual IOP

PHP provides structured daytime treatment for clients who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require 24-hour care.

The treatment path is not one-size-fits-all. Clients may enter directly into the outpatient level that matches their needs. Stabilization is not a required first step for every client.

90% Complete Their Journey – With Lasting Change

Completing treatment is one of the most critical steps toward lasting recovery—and at Peaks Recovery, 90% of our clients do just that. This remarkable success rate is driven by programs that engage, empower, and meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey. Because when treatment is completed, it creates a stronger foundation for long-term healing, improved mental health, and a renewed sense of purpose.

90% of our clients complete ALL recommended treatment compared to the 42% industry standard.

Optional & Specialized Services

In addition to our core treatment programming, eligible clients may have access to specialized services that support their individualized care. Availability varies by level of care, clinical appropriateness, authorization, and applicable costs.

GeneSight® Testing

GeneSight® is a pharmacogenomic test that provides information about how a client’s genetic makeup may affect their response to certain medications or other substances. Our medical team can consider these results alongside symptoms, treatment history, previous medication experiences, and other clinical factors when making medication-related decisions.

Testing is completed using a simple cheek swab and may be available to clients receiving detox, stabilization, residential treatment, or PHP.

GeneSight® testing is optional and is not automatically included in treatment. A copay or other out-of-pocket cost may apply.

TMS Therapy

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS, is a noninvasive treatment that uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. TMS may be considered for clients who meet clinical and payer criteria and may be provided alongside PHP or IOP programming at separate, non-overlapping times.

TMS is offered based on clinical appropriateness, medical necessity, and applicable authorization. It is not automatically included in treatment.

Physical Therapy

Pain, injury, and physical limitations can affect comfort, movement, and participation in everyday life. Residential clients may elect to receive one-on-one appointments with a licensed physical therapist to help reduce discomfort, improve mobility, and feel more physically supported while in care.

Physical therapy is optional, available to residential clients, and provided at an additional cost.

Active Duty Support

Supporting Those Who Serve

For active duty service members, treatment often involves more than clinical care alone. Peaks Recovery’s dedicated Military Liaison helps bridge communication between the service member, their treatment team, command, and on-base providers as appropriate.
