What insurances do you accept?
We work well with most major insurance companies, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UMR, Aetna, and more.

Do you accept Medicaid/Medicare?
Peaks Recovery Centers currently is not contracted with Medicaid/Medicare. Here are some resources for those with Medicaid/Medicare.

How long is your treatment program?
Do you have a drug and alcohol detox?
Yes, Peaks Recovery has our own Medical Detox. Our detox facility provides a seamless transition into treatment.
Peaks Recovery Centers can provide a safe social detox setting for individuals with minor relapses or use. For individuals who have been consistently using and for long periods of time, a medical detox setting is required prior to admission into Peaks Recovery. Heavy users of alcohol and prescription benzodiazepines are at the highest risk and need a medical detox setting due to complications associated with detoxing of those drugs. Whether your loved one’s first step is at Peaks Recovery or is in need of a medical detox setting first, Peaks Recovery can support the entire process and we work with many trusted medical detox facilities across the state and country to ensure your loved one experiences a safe and comfortable detox.

What is the admissions process look like?
Getting To Know You
At Peaks, we know that addiction treatment is an investment into your, or a loved one’s, health, and life. That is why our admissions team is here to help guide you towards the facility that best suits your needs. We will need to gather some personal information which may include:
Current/Past substance abuse
Current situation and environment
Needed medical history
We will also begin planning for detox services if needed.

The next step would be to allow our admissions team to streamline the verification of your coverage and benefits, and also call to discuss payment options.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Depending on substance use, medical history, and co-occurring disorders (e.g. trauma, anxiety, depression), and other individual needs, Peaks will develop a plan of care for you or your loved one. Our treatment programs process will be explained to you in an easy to understand way.
Arriving At Peaks Recovery
You will find our compassionate team ready to endeavor down the path of inspiring new changes with you, or a loved one, the moment you arrive. An assessment of your current well being will be taken first before entering into your personalized treatment plan.
Do you allow smoking?
We encourage all individuals within treatment to not use nicotine and have stringent rules about not smoking inside buildings and respecting the areas in communities where smoking is allowed.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes, we provide courtesy client pick up for clients who may be coming into Colorado Springs airport, or Denver airport (DIA).
And of course, transportation during treatment to necessary meetings, doctor appointments are also covered.
