MARIJUANA ADDICTION TREATMENT
Formal addiction treatment, like Peaks Recovery, can help address the underlying issues driving substance abuse and addiction. Many marijuana abuse treatment options are available, including inpatient, outpatient and after-care rehab.
Medical detox is the first step into a full recovery. It is needed in order to rid the body of all the alcohol or drugs that have been used or abused. For most cases, detoxification from any drug needs to occur in a safe and medically overseen facility. Peaks Recovery is medically staffed by a primary care physician, a psychiatrist, and around the clock nursing. The medical team acumen provides the safest medical detox in the state of Colorado. Unlike most drug and alcohol detox programs, our medical team is not contracted and is onsite throughout the day to ensure your safety and comfort.

Inpatient Residential Rehab
Inpatient Residential Treatment is the highest level of care. It encompasses around the clock care and monitoring. All clients reside on the program campus, where they will attend all their individual therapy, medication management, group therapy, holistic therapies, and more.
Peaks Recovery is licensed to provide both inpatient and residential drug and alcohol treatment services to adults of all ages. For the duration of programming patients are housed in beautiful gender separate housing providing a nurturing environment that promotes personal well being and recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
A partial hospitalization program is the next step down after completing inpatient rehab. If necessary, a stabilized patient will transition into a sober living environment while still attending their needed classes, therapy sessions, or scheduled doctor appointments.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP is one of the more flexible levels of care, and is usually only recommended to those who have completed an inpatient program. Intensive outpatient programming involves anywhere from nine to fifteen hours per week of clinical contact hours ranging from group counseling, to individual sessions, and on-going psychiatric evaluations. To achieve these hours you are encouraged to participate in group therapy for three hours a day over the course of three days or five days per week depending on the clinical recommendation.
Unlike inpatient and residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs, you can continue to live at home, continue with your job or school, and enjoy your additional free time with family and friends.
Dual Diagnosis: Dual Diagnosis, also referred to as co-occuring disorders, is when an individual experiences a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder concurrently. If a mental disorder is present in conjunction with substance abuse, they must address each issue separately in order to establish an appropriate course of treatment in a dual diagnosis rehab.

Holistic Rehab: True holistic care involves an individual entering into a professional care setting that provides guidance from trained therapists. From there, traditional types of therapy for addiction will be used in conjunction with complementary or alternative holistic treatments.
