The Grand Opening of ‘Trailhead’

Colorado Springs, CO – August 2023 – Peaks Recovery Centers has announced the grand opening of their new behavioral healthcare facility aptly named ‘Trailhead.’ The Trailhead campus represents the starting point for any recovery journey for patients suffering from substance use and mental health disorders. Trailhead accommodates 20 new inpatient beds to support the ever-increasing local demand for behavioral healthcare services. 

In January of 2021, Colorado Springs City Council championed the annexation and expansion of their new building after a long, arduous effort by the surrounding community to stop the expansion in fear of the communal impact regarding the patient demographic Peaks serves. Peaks acknowledged and defended its operational growth against the backdrop of the community’s concerns and are fortunate to have received the City’s votes to expand these crucial community based services. With the new approval, Peaks Recovery had to then navigate the development of the property through ever increasing costs caused by inflation and other post pandemic constraints.

Peaks Recovery Centers has provided over nine years of effective treatment services while establishing a nationwide footprint in the treatment of individuals and their family systems across 44 states. Recently, the Denver Post awarded Peaks Recovery “Top Places to Work” and further earned The ASAM Level of Care Certifications in levels 3.7, 3.5, and 3.1 earlier this year by the CARF accreditation body.
